Participants will journey through a confectionary theme to learn the ins and outs of how to integrate and teach all layers of structured literacy effectively in the classroom (at home or school). This course will provide participants with a clearly articulated guiding framework for how to teach phonemic awareness, phonics, syllable patterns, morphology, vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency to help every learner to succeed. Participants will learn all about structured literacy and fill their tool kit with a myriad of ready to implement literacy and language strategies. This course combines the best of structured literacy implementation with delicious strategies to make reading and writing palatable for every learner.

She understands that dyslexia is a complex, vital issue and recognizes that educators need the knowledge and skills to remediate and support students with dyslexia. Elizabeth has provided K-12th professional development for schools and public conferences for over two decades. Formerly, Elizabeth worked as a teacher, curriculum director, and principal. She completed her Ed. S. in Educational Psychology through Regent University, where she is now working to complete her doctorate. She is a certified Wilson Dyslexia Therapist and a trained evaluator for dyslexia. Elizabeth’s courses provide ready-to-apply, evidence-based information that ignites the architect within every educator, empowering them to design strategies that catalyze school (and life) success for all learners.
