PEI License Renewal Credit Class Half Price Awards – Up to $1000 Available
Apply now! PEIF is offering half price scholarships for educators attending PEI Professional Development Classes. These scholarships are intended to help classroom teachers expand their professional skills and knowledge in areas of ethics, classroom management, dyslexia, leadership, financial literacy, and STEM.
To apply for a scholarship, please submit a paragraph to info@peiowa.org describing the workshop you wish to attend and the direct benefits you expect this opportunity to bring to you and to your students.
Scholarship awards will be applied directly to the Professional Development class specified in the application (limit one per person per year).

Habits To Health: Owning Our Stress with Barb Ranck
In this session, we will go beyond reacting to and managing stress; it gets to recognizing patterns where our greatest strengths create our stress, disrupting patterns that don’t get us the outcomes we want, and taking intentional, compassionate ownership to build the important, consistent, healthy habits that keep us healthy, regardless of circumstances. This session will be a mix of teaching, activities, and small group discussions, offering time to connect with peers and with others to gain new perspectives and best practices. Individuals will leave with a “30 Day Healthy-Habit Plan” for them to complete and to check in with a peer who will help hold them accountable.
Legal Primer and Q&A with Nathan Arnold, Esq.
During this session, we will learn more about legislation passed earlier this year and how it might impact you and your classroom. Additionally, participants will enjoy the opportunity to ask questions of Nathan and other office staff.
Leader Kick-off with Guest PEI Members
Throughout the day we will hear from district leaders – those who recognize the PEI value proposition and share it with others. We will hear from leaders who have worked to grow membership, and we will learn “why” they feel compelled to share the benefits of PEI and “how” they have approached membership growth.
